Rivier University

Rivier University, formerly Rivier College, is a private Catholic liberal arts university located in Nashua, New Hampshire. Named in honor of Blessed Anne-Marie Rivier, foundress of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, Rivier College was founded in 1933 by the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary in Hudson, New Hampshire. In 1941, the college moved to its current location in Nashua where it became Rivier University on July 1, 2012. It became co-ed, admitting its first male undergraduate students in 1991.
